On the occation of 1 April Google Launched 'Treasure Maps'

On the occasion of April's Fool Day prank Google launched "Treasure Maps" i.e.
one more type of view of maps. Google Launched video of "Treasure Maps" 
explaining the story behind the it.



Google's marketing manager 'Mike Pegg' says that,
"The map is rumored to contain the clues to Captain Kidd's long lost treasure, however the map contains encrypted symbols and codes and is not readily decipherable".

To use the "Treasure Maps" go to the Google maps & you can see option at the right top side "Treasure".

Google maps already have following  three options for maps

1) Satellite
2) Maps
3) 3 D (Google Earth)

And now "Treasure Maps" is the fourth one.

Here I have given Examples of comparisons between them.

In the given example we can see the differences between the different views of Google Maps.

Example 1:- Map of India


1) Simple view of India



2) Satellite view of India



3) Treasure view of India


Example 2 :- Mumbai,India.


1) Simple view of Mumbai in Google Map


2) Satelite view of Mumbai,India.


3) Treasure view of Mumbai,India.
